Each hood has two or three incandescent sockets rated up to 150 watts each, as well as a fluorescent fixture for a UV emitting lamp. Each socket fixture has its own rocker switch for independent light selection. Other features include an aluminum reflector for increased UV penetration, and an internally grounded receptacle for rock heaters, waterfalls, or other in tank accessories.
